International renowned cinematographer. An essential member of the Wong Kar-wai team. Involved projects such as《In the Mood for Love 》《2046》《Happy Together》《Ashes of Time 》etc,Also held in《Hero 》《American Dreams in China》《Infernal Affairs》etc.
Since 2002, has won the Best Cinematographer award seven times at the Hong Kong Film Festival.
In 2017, was awarded the “ExcelLens” award at the Cannes Film Festival.
